amandawong
Hello, I have a problem when using Floor Generator to create the floor. I'm using 3ds Max 2017 and after I added the floor generator as a modifier, the spline disappeared. I actually attached 2 separate spline into one. Could anyone give some advice on this? I'm new to max. Thank you.
Chris MacDonald
...The spline is still there, underneath floor generator in the modifier stack.
amandawong
I know the spline is there, but it suppose to have the floor generated after I applied the modifier. Edited February 21, 2017 by amandawong
Chris MacDonald
Have you checked that it is a closed spline?
amandawong
I think so, I combined 2 splines using Attach, then weld the vertexs Edited February 21, 2017 by amandawong
Chris MacDonald
Are they overlapping? This can cause issues. Keep the splines separate then copy & paste (instanced) the modifier from one to the other, so that all the settings stay the same (which I assume is what you want). amandawong
I think its really about the 2 splines didnt merge well, I'm not sure why, but I created the same shape with Line and it works. Thanks Chris
