Morne Erasmus
Hi all Checkout my FREE SCRIPT* to Create VR Tours from Rendered Stereo Cubemaps. Give it a test drive and let me know what you think. It's an initial test release, so please give me some feedback if it's working/not working for you. Make sure you READ the instructions carefully! Just feed the script your stereo cubemaps (12X1) and it will do the rest. I just wanted something custom that works for me as I already bought KRPano before many of the current alternatives came out. Essentially the script is a UI for KRPano so you don't have to worry about file or folder structures, XML or any kind of programming. *So even though my script is free and I'm sharing it, you will need a KRPano License http://mornestudio.com/vr-tour-script/ Have FUN and please report bugs! Scott Schroeder
Fantastic! I look forward to testing this out.
Morne Erasmus
How did you get on Scott? I realise the calculations are not the fastest at the moment and there's certainly room for improvement. I just wanted to get it out in the meantime to get some user feedback. I haven't had a chance to test it yet, I'm hoping to give it a whirl today. I'm not too overly concerned about hyper fast processing. I just use it as an excuse to go get some more coffee and maybe do a few crop dusting runs around the office.
Morne Erasmus
I've updated the page to include an additional step required during install of the latest version of ImageMagick. Make sure you read the instructions and please report bugs!
