Hello everybody, I need fast ULTRA fast reply, so I posted on general discussion, moderators can move it to different section :)

Used In Design for long time just for PDF, but now I have tons of papers with pictures so I cant use just photoshop (time).

Question is is it possible to use template or styles from photoshop to In Design, or you create your own in In Design, and how? I need same style on every picture that I bring in so I dont have time to process every picture.

Thanks!

Not sure about Photoshop to InDesign but you can setup an Object Style, edit the style how you want it, and then highlight every image and apply the style to them...if that's what you're asking. Things like adding a stroke, fill, bevel/emboss. Not sure what kind of template or style you are after though.

The item above is accomplished by going to Window>Styles>Object Styles.

Yes you can set up styles in InDesign to objects, but the styles are nothing like those in PS. I'm not sure what you're overall trying to achieve, but it's probably best to just do a batch in PS and insert them into ID.

Templates can be set up on a master sheet in the pages window, then right click your pages and apply the template. This probably isn't much help, but good luck.

not sure if you're speaking about connecting several text frames?

https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/threading-text.html

To control the text styles of a document i normally would do this by setting up different text or paragraph styles.

Fox Hound is wanting to connect multiple text frames (threading), however I think the thing that he wants to achieve is to automate it throughout every page, as opposed to having to click each one individually throughout the 30 pages...don't think there is a way to do it without having to do it manually throughout the document.

Yes Chris that is what I want, thank you for pictures it was done, but have no idea what to do with text boxes on every page... one by one, I red somewhere that threading can do the thing. Gotta try :)

EDIT

Ok just tested threading, you can now select whole text on multiple pages that is great, but you cant change object styles, that is bad :)
