Devin Johnston
I do lots of animations and I'm wondering if there is a way to set up Adobe Premiere/After Effects to automatically export an animation once it's finished rendering? What I'd like to be able to do is set up the files using a temporary animation and somehow have the programs ready to render out the final animation once the farm is done. It seems like there should be some automated process via a plugin or render manager like Deadline capable of doing this. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? jackbird
If you pay for Deadline, it comes with a tool called Draft that can compile Quicktimes (and do basically anything else you can describe using Python) when a render ends.
Devin Johnston
Sounds like you need to know Python to get it to work....right?
jackbird
It comes with a cookbook of basic scripts, one of which is "compile quicktime": http://www.thinkboxsoftware.com/draft-create-a-quicktime-movie/ Support is very responsive as well and can hold your hand through getting some more specific scripts set up.
