Register V-Ray DR spawner as a service

Hello,

im asking because just want to know if there is any advantage of it.

 

Spawner service open vray spawner when windows boots up. but i make it in a diffrent way. i copied a shortcut of vray spawner to 'startup' folder. Is both ways does the same thing?

 

They said: "you should set up Log On account for the V-Ray spawner service, otherwise the textures or any other external assets won't be accessible"

 

>>>> but i didnt get that issue. and everything working fine without log on. my assets on a UNC path like //server/resoure/textures.......

what they actually trying to mean?
