Shaun Hamm
Does anyone know if vray for sketchup 3.0 is backwards compatible to vray for sketchup 2.0? I know it has been for other platforms such as vray for 3ds max, just as long as you don't use release specific features. I'm trying to get one office to start using vray for sketchup 3 but another office is already using 2.0 and doesn't wish to upgrade. I just want to know if there will be any issues sharing files. Shaun Hamm
nevermind, finally found an answer V-Ray 3 is not backwards compatibile with V-Ray 2. That’s why every commercial license update from V-Ray 2 to V-Ray 3 includes and additional V-Ray 2 license valid for 6 months after the update, so customers can finish projects created with the 2.0 version of V-Ray.
