Tommy L
Hello all, Does anyone here use a standalone browser for their model library? We're archiving all our project models into libraries and it would be good to have a tool for easily finding and merging files from libraries into max scenes. The ability to tag, preview model and view file properties and linked attributes would be awesome, any ideas very welcome. Thanks, Tom.

Josef Wienerroither
Just for completeness, Autodesk come up with some sort of Connecter ripoff some time ago ... It's not a too bad effort, but looks not to be quite as flexible updated that often as Connecter https://apps.autodesk.com/3DSMAX/en/Detail/Index?id=6015429456303731618 Edited May 19, 2017 by spacefrog
RyderSK
Having 'worked' on with DC devs on Connecter I can say they are absolute maniacs. They're adding features by speed of light and exactly as requested by users. I can't imagine not having it. The Autodesk thing is imho abandonware from start. Tommy L
Thanks guys, we went with Connector. It does seem to be a well thought out UX.
