mking
I have a large scene, (several thousand feet across). I can not zoom to the extents of the drawing and must always pan from side to side. This is wearing me down. Does anyone have any suggestions to help me?
Bugga_Guy
make sure to move your model center to origin (0,0). If you already did that, or you wish not to, click on an object (have it labeled properly so you can find it in your "select by name" button and use the "zoom select extents" button (the white box button - you can get it by pressing down on the zoom extents button, which will bring up to selections a grey and white box button) the zoom extents select button will zoom to the object that you want to have on screen. Its not a perfect solution but it helps.
LukeC
make sure to move your model center to origin (0,0) Just a note on the size of your model, it is really advised that you move your model as close to 0,0 as possible as viz looses accuracy the further away from 0,0 you get and you can find your model can get distorted and panning around can get all jumpy hard to control.
