elipan
I want to put my hands on a GTX 1070 for some Vray-RT rendering and I have some questions before I do so: 1. I do realize I better have a dedicated GPU for viewport so my question is will my good old GTX 770 will work? Or I need to get my self another Pascal card? 2. If I do need another Pascal card... how is the GTX 1050ti for 3dsmax? Or a GT 1030? I remember the GTX 750ti was great for that a few years back but I don't know where to put it in relation to the new cards. 3. Is it really worth it? rendering in Vray-RT with just one single GTX 1070? Is there some kind of benchmark with Vray-RT? Zdravko Barisic
It is hard to get Vray-RT into production render, in ArchiViz, yet, if you made it, than great! Personally, if you are tight with deadlines, private duties, etc...I would stay away of RT, and play on safe side, CPU render. Just my 2cc...and yes, GTX770 would perform perfect, still, in 3dsmax viewport!
