pmontalva
Hi all, First time here. I'm a newbie vray for rhino user looking for a gpu upgrade within a 200-250€ range. I've heard some good things about the AMD gpu RX 580 because of its price-performance. Would it be better to take an nvidia card for CUDA? would be vray compatible with the rx 580? Should i go for it? Thaks
Nikolaos M
Afaik, OpenCL isn't currently supported by Vray RT gpu (for Rhino). Raise your budget by 20-30€ and go for a gtx 1060 6gb. This is the best choice for this price range at the moment. https://geizhals.de/?cat=gra16_512&xf=9810_7+3855+-+GTX+1060+(6GB)~9810_7+3855+-+GTX+1060+(6GB)+9Gbps Edited July 1, 2017 by nikolaosm
