Handiklap
I work for a commercial playground manufacturer and have been charged with the task of automating our rendering system. Basically I'm creating optimized native max (viz) versions of our 800-something component blocks, which will be assembled in viz through a script reading a csv file with block names, insertion points, and rotation information. The creation of steel tubing that is present in the majority of these blocks could be easily scripted if I can find a way to extract/extrapolate plines that made the extrusion paths from the extruded acad parts. The original paths don't exist anymore, and that's the only way i could think of getting them. I'd greatly appreciate any info/ideas anyone has on this.
