dollystewart Posted August 8, 2017 Share Posted August 8, 2017 I've recently just started using 3dsmax again (last time was probably more than 4 years ago). I have managed to rip my own MMO character off a game (for learning purposes) using ninjaripper and then a rip2obj converter. I have put all dds texture files in the specific path and loaded in all my .obj files in 3dsmax. But no matter what I did I could not get the textures to show up (same thing with cinema 4D lite) I was wondering if it was bad compilation of sorts that lead to texture mismatch or did I simply missed a few steps or checks.
