guenther Malek
Does anyone know where these overbright blotches could come from? funnily enough, it only appears with bucket rendering, not in progressive mode...
Francisco Penaloza
What type of lighting are you using?? Those white spots are over bright areas that V Ray can't sample. Progressive sampling is a different method, so it would not have a problem with those areas. but it will take longer to finish the overall image. since you are not giving much information about your scene it would be hard to pin point the real issue. I could guess that you are using an HDRI and that you inverse gamma that image to get sharper shadows and that made the dynamic range way too high for your antialiasing setting to clean up. Are you using any Color mapping?? did you try the clamp option? did you try the sub-pixel mapping option?
