francescobarcella
Hi, I'm very new to this forum and this is my first post, let me tell I'm not an architect and I don't know very much render software. I'm a sysadmin and I'm in charge to find a solution to our company. The facts: In our company our architect works with software as SKUP 2015/2016 and RHINO 5, anyone do many renders in a day and they use VRAY 2 for both the programs. I would to speedup the process enabling Distributed Rendering, for this we bought 3 render nodes (3 Dell Precision with 40 cores each one) and installed the Vray Spawner. In this way when I start a render I really appreciate a speed bump, good! The problem:My solution only fit for one render at a time but I have many users that want to render at the same time. If someone is rendering the 3 machine are occupied and do not respond to anyone. The solution? Asked to Vray guys they told me to use Deadline, Deadline guys told me they have problem to these configuration (SKUP+ VRAY) and to upgrade to VRAY 3 with SWARM, so asked again to Chaos Group support and they told me that Swarm DOESN'T IS a Render Manager, it manage only a node but only one render one by one. What Can I do?If could be possibile to launch many spawner to one node (listening on different ports) and setting up each client o use a different port this could be a (bad) workaround. Any ideas?
