SkylineArch
If it looks/works as good as the video, this could really hurt the companies selling tree packs, since this price is pretty competitive. It doesn't look like it's an annual license either.
Chris MacDonald
My concern is how it plays with Forest Pro, etc as it seems to me that it specialises in making the tree trunks/branches and then you have to scatter a twig model on it. Scott Schroeder
Yeah, the whole buy twigs is an interesting approach. I just hope they provide more twigs because I'm not 100% sure I'd have a lot of time to model my own. It should play with Forest Pro with no problem because you'll have to export a mesh from Blender anyways. It would be no different than your typical tree or proxy tree. notamondayfan
Very interesting. I find tree packs quite limiting, especially if they don't give many variations. This looks like a good alternative, especially given the price.
Francisco Penaloza
I just would like to add for some people who do not know this software it been out for a while already. I've seen some development but it seems very slow, not sure what is their status now, but when it came up a few years ago I thought it would be a good idea but then nothing happened for a while. laubwerk.com moved a lot faster than this as a comparison. Most of these tree companies come up with a lot of promises and then they just do not deliver. I still do not understand how is possible that a company such XFrog, having arguably the largest library of plants and trees still do not keep moving forward, their software is old as Onyx tree, most of their plants textures are not Gamma corrected, they could be just killing it, but, it is just sitting there, every year with a Summer promo of the same old stuff.
