ioanadanciu
hello guys.I m using vray 3.20.02 for max 2016. I am actually a rendering beginner and i have some troubles... I made my render setup as you can see in those pics, but when i render, the rendering tab is white...or black... also,on the screen(while rendering) is shown up a VRAY MESSAGE TAB...which is sending the warning: Subpixel color is on:render results may have incorrect brightness did this ever happen to anyone? Justin Hunt
you can ignore the subpixel message, it useful for cleaning up jaggies around super bright areas, Default is OFF you have "Show Alpha" ticked on The white ball next to the RGB buttons
Chris MacDonald
It's a common error, and the effect it has on your render will be visible; however it's up to you to decide whether it's worth it or not. As justin said, it has its uses from time to time. I personally have it always off. Peter guthrie did some comparisons. http://www.peterguthrie.net/blog/2012/07/rendering-oof-highlights
