checkalevimorenos
Hi All, Im trying to create a mesh semi transparent curtain made of fabric, not metal. There is a transparent material that comes with vray as well as a vray mesh but it's gaps are far too wide! I cant seem to find the fine pale mesh fabric i am looking for. I have attached a picture of the exact material i am trying to recreate. Any tips? Sorry for being a noob. Cheers. Lewis Garrison
Couldn't you just scale the opacity map so that its smaller? Other than that you could just google a tillable texture that's at the size your looking for. Since it looks like a simple grid you could also make the map in Photoshop to the exact widths you want. checkalevimorenos
Had a breakthrough, and for any other noobs like me heres how i did it. Imported the too-large mesh from Vray into sketchup, and used SKETCHUP EDITOR (matertials, colors in model) to edit the scale, colour and opacity of the material. Cant believe it took me so long to realise this. Thanks a lot for your reply buddy. Learning slowly but surely!
