Graphite
So this seems to be a common occurrence as of late, so I figured I'd ask how all of you describe what we do (3D Visualization) to someone who A.) Has no idea what Visualization/ 3D Rendering is. and B.) is unfamiliar with our Industry? I tend to just show people 3D Work and then say, "That is not a photograph." ahmeds
With acquaintances and new people I just say 3d illustrator, and if they appear not to get it or ask further I add "it's like 3d graphics design". I've learnt not to use the word visualiser ever again. With my parents it's more difficult. They don't speak English, and 3d art or graphics design was unheard of where they grew up in Africa. I've tried describing it many times but they don't understand. I've heard my mum describe what I do from Interior Decoration to Engineer to God knows what else. maxryhan
"I'm an artist who use computer to generate beautiful images and animations, usually to show buildings and interiors for designers and their clients " Or I just open a render on my phone and show it to him/her.
