alnoman
I am planning on a possible exterior animation. 10 min long probably. How big scene can be handled in UE ? Thanks in advance for the help. Thanks!

Ernest Burden III
Define "size", and why it would matter. I do not know what the OP meant, but the question made me suspect it could be either or both of these: Does Unreal handle large site models (neighborhood or city-size) without losing/scrambling small details, so you can go from wide shot to close-up? Is there a poly-count limit (p.e. thousands of high-poly trees) or object count limit to what can be realistically expected to perform real-time on an average PC? Eliot Blenkarne
There's a 2gb limit on map size if you want to package it up. But you can have multiple maps in a scene, so it's not really an issue. As for poly count, it depends on a lot of other factors, so it's really up to the artist to keep an eye of performance as they work.
