Ramon Folguera
Hi, everytime I try to open a large(ish) 3ds max file it crashes. It was working fine until one day I opened the master file of one of my projects and one of the xrefs wasn't loading even though it was correctly linked. I tried to reload it but still wasn't working. After that i closed and opened and now any big file I was able to open before is crashing. We tried everything and still not working. Anyone had the same problem/knows what could be happening?? thanks, Ramon Edited April 12, 2018 by ramonfolguera
Ramon Folguera
I have no clue what it is going on. I think it could be something with the xrefs. Even though I tried opening same files in my colleagues machine and it works perfectly fine. Any thoughts please??
Francisco Penaloza
Hard o tell with not more information, Maybe is a plugin missing or script, or a large texture missing?? Maybe you are running out of RAM?? but with not more information about your scene and system it is hard to tell, that a very general error warning. Can you open the XREF scene by it self?? can you open Max and merge that XREF?
