Arnold Sher
So once in a blue moon when i need to clear my head and stop thinking about CG i like to just draw and i find it really relaxes me... I wondered how you spend your time away from the insanity that we all live it? This is is my latest drawing that i have done on my Wacom.
heni30
Cool drawing. I play the guitar - electric blues - SRV, Gary Moore, etc. Bending notes through a cranked up Marshall stack will do wonders for stress. Watch inspirational streams - like Black Mirror; Abstract - the art of design, etc. Do a swim everyday. Edited July 17, 2018 by heni30
David Turner
I sleep, eat and bathe. Not necessarily in that order.
Scott Schroeder
What is this word, downtime? Definition of downtime 1 : time during which production is stopped especially during setup for an operation or when making repairs 2 : inactive time (such as time between periods of work) napping during our downtime an injured athlete facing months of downtime In all seriousness my downtime is chasing my 17 month old daughter around, who is chasing my 2 dogs around. Wouldn't have it any other way. I suppose I get some video game time in there at nights when everyone is asleep, but it took me a solid year to beat Horizon Zero Dawn so that tells you how much gaming time I get these days. Larissa Holderness
Downtime ... Play Overwatch and Goat Simulator on XBox .... Recently I have taken up indoor "jungalow" stuff - lots of plants with big leaves. I need a life.
TomD_Arch
Because I do architecture by day with the occasional visualization assignment, my "downtime" is spent working on bettering my visualization skills in the hopes of making the switch to full-time some day. When I need a break from that I'm either playing a little Fortnite (Who isn't these days, I think I even saw your grandmother snipe a fool last night!) or used to play EVE Online. Cooking- I used to be a chef before architecture school, so now I love to cook for fun and relaxation. I make the best gumbo in the world.

Chris MacDonald
My downtime changes over the course of a year, every year. I'll have a solid of month gaming, then get bored and the playstation will gather dust for 11 months whilst I produce music/cook/socialise/etc. Currently whilst the UK is baking in some frankly amazing weather (albeit everything green has turned yellow) I'm using all my spare time to sit outside in the garden, or in various pub gardens drinking and eating. M V
This - It's not uncommon to find me lighting the barbecue pit at midnight for an all-night smoke on a brisket when I am not smoking up VRay buckets.
Lewis Garrison
On my downtime I've been working on a 3D model of the city of Chicago in Sketchup.
Tommy L
Cycling! Just got back from RAGBRAI. Family, cooking, making beer, watching football on the telly....anything that doesnt involve computers or social media is generally time well spent. You should get in touch with Thorsten at Visualised Concepts, he's been working on a Chicago model for years.
Lewis Garrison
^^^oh cool! I pretty much have all the existing buildings that I want modeled. lately I've been focusing on modeling all projects that are proposed and under construction to visualize what the skyline will eventually look like. I also have a layer with all of the canceled projects to visualize what the skyline could have looked like. I'm a geek for this stuff
