Tommy L
Has anyone got experience compositing people in post into 360 interior renders? I have some working knowledge of Mettle Skybox, which might be handy, but need to estimate the work and any practical advice would be great. There will be around 20 people in an office environment. Its the close up people Im worried about. 3d people not an option, this client doesnt like seeing the same people that other firms use. I think my current plan is to render people on planes on a seperate pass in the scene and render a matte from the 3d file, which should give me reasonably good control whicst handling the distorsion issues. Any other ideas?
Tom Bussey
You could create some custom 3D people using Adobe Fuse and then rig and pose them using Mixamo/Anima? Edited August 1, 2018 by busseynova
Scott Schroeder
What about good ole opacity mapped people on plane geometry directly in your base render image? Trying to comp them seems like an invitation for nightmares. There was a talk from Brick about composting stereo cube maps using after effects. They only really get into the concept, but it may help spark ideas.
