wernherhofer
Hi there, I face an annoying problem. Since Friday I try to a rendering for a large scale print in a resolution of 20000x10000px. To save Ram I rendered it according to the workflow "rendering very large images" by chaosgroup. In all of my attemps the rendering lookes fine in the small preview, no error messages in the log file, but after the rendering finished there was no exr or vrimg file in the path I definded. I also made a search of all *.exr files on the pc if it was saved somewhere else, but there was nothing. Today I found out that the EXR will be saved, if I delete the V-Ray denoiser render element. It is annoying that it seems to be that I can`t render a very high image with the V-Ray Denoiser. I would be very thankful for hints how I can use the V-Ray denoiser with "V-Ray raw image file" I am on 3ds Max 2016 and Vray 3.50.04 Thanks in advance! Nicolai Bongard
There is a standalone vray denoiser. https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/VRAY3MAX/Standalone+Denoise+Tool+%7C+vdenoise
