What software does Ross Lovegrove Studio use?

There's a document from 2012 describing the following:

 

Computational Designer:

Maya mel, Processing, Grasshopper for Rhino or equivalent.

 

Alias Designer/Surface Modeler:

Alias

 

Is the same software still being used? What else do they use?

Without trying to sound like an a#@#! you can ask the company itself. I am pretty sure they will be happy to tell you what software and process they use for their design. If you are a student, even better, then you could have more inside.

 

Now a good question is why you will be interested to know that.

Software is a tool just like any other, the main point here is to be inspired to have creative thinking and not being afraid to experiment with things that nobody thought before. Sometimes even the limitations of the software push you to be more creative.
