kamikaze
Hi guys. I am currewntly working in an Arki firm who is, at the moment, transitioning from CAD to BIM. They will replace our ADT's with Revit. I am only working on VIZ's R2...... So if we upgrade to Revit 7, I may have to ask for(an overdue upgrade) VIZ 2005 right?? (at least i now have reason to ask for an upgrade!( I mean can you import Revit's file to render into viz without losing any architectural detail in the file?? ( oh, and why is revit rendering soooooo slow??.....that's the company's complaint...so i do renderings in viz....but they want accurate drawings.....so i wana import fromviz Revits files) thanks people!! Scott Davis
Revit 7.0 can export a DWG, which can be read by Viz 2005, via a plug-in in Viz. All the materials, ligghts, and cameras that were in Revit will come into Viz. (Accurender materials get reassigned as Viz materials)
