akshayarora
Hello to the Family, Recently we are facing ALC script error so for the solution we have installed this Prune script ( image attached ) which is now creating a problem. It actually not allowing the file to open and making it corrupt. We have few Xref's in this scene so might be its taking long time to open that's why we want to check whether Prune is not allowing it to open or Xref's are taking too long that resulting to corrupt. I need help in how we can remove Prune script completely from 3D max so that we can rectify the exact issue.
Tom Bussey
Did you find a solution to this? I use Prune so it's a bit worrying to hear this.
Josef Wienerroither
Have you tried the Autodesk Security Tools for 3ds Max ? Reading up about the official Prune description alone is enough for me to NEVER EVER install this script. The AD securitytools should remove malicious scripts from Max scenes and installation, no need for a third party script to do that Autodesk security tools can be downloaded in the 3ds Max Appstore ( login required ) https://apps.autodesk.com/3DSMAX/en/Detail/Index?id=7342616782204846316&appLang=en&os=Win64 Edited February 8, 2019 by spacefrog
