seyahmit
Hi Guys, This Streetscape was rendered in Max and is a huge file so I didn't use GI, just a direct and some misc lights. It looks kind of blah to me and I was hoping to get a few tips on how to make it better in photoshop before printing. Thanks,
MJL Imaging
If you're not going to use GI try some fakiosity, it works on my exteriors. There's a tutorial floating around here somewhere that you can search for. The shadowing needs some help, like under the automobiles and trees and stuff like that. I'm not seing enough contrast between the direct sunlight and shadowing. Good work on the modeling, but help all that hard work out by developing the lighting more, it'll pay off. jtiscareno
Right, try some "fakeosity" = dome of omni lights, takes less time than radio. the perspective on the cars looks off, try adding some peeps on the left side walk, the sky looks add-on and pixelated. And there is a visible gap of blue on top corner of main building.
joske
Hi Guys, This Streetscape was rendered in Max and is a huge file so I didn't use GI, Mray has no problem with large files, so that's no reason not to use it. (donno about other GI solutions) difference in speed is minimal with loads of meshes...
Da_RoCk
Hello, IMO, the upper part of the whole image looks good. however, when it comes to the road texture and your entourage, it ruined the overall composition. Good start though and im hoping to see more. cheers.!!! merry xmas to all...
