Where has the freelance work gone?

Last year I began freelancing as an archviz artist, mostly through Fiverr but also on other platforms. I was earning double, or sometimes even triple what my pathetic full-time job had been paying. Since the beginning of this year, however, I have only received one inquiry, and no work from overseas.

 

Am I the only one struggling this much, or is it always like this for the first few months of the year?

As you have experienced, I generally get more work from April to November, thins out over Christmas period. Not sure if this is the case everywhere but that's what I normally experience.
