Lumion , grass question

Hi guys, I have a question for you,

 

do you know how to use 3D grass on the terrain that is created by using terrain editor (height map)

 

I would like to have that grass everywhere..

 

Also, do you have a trick to make site plans on Lumion?

 

Cause it is super hard from sketch up or revit to do what I want as a site plan, but doing it on lumion limit my textures I can apply so how are you guys working?

You cannot apply 3D grass on the terrain by using the terrain editor. You have to assign that terrain a material in sketchup or revit. However you can apply landscape grass (the 3D kind) via the landscape material. You do not want to have the actual 3D grass everywhere because it will slow down the machine and the renders.

 

Lumion does not limit the textures, so I am not sure what you mean. And what exactly are you looking to do with your site plan?
