Gonzalo Prades
Hi all, I’ve read in this forum that running 3D Max 2018 in windows home it can have some problems. In the Autodesk website they list windows 10 professional not home... I’m experiencing some problems, like my proxy objects overloading the RAM or not being able to use x-ref scenes (they don’t show)... as well as that the batch render stops and the computer got stuck. I’m not sure if those issues are about the windows problems or not, does any o e know which issues can I have running windows 10 home instead of professional? Thanks
James Vella
I have run windows 10 home for 2 years, with a variety of 3d software & render engines with no problems. Whats your hardware? Which render engine are you using? edit: I see you made 2 posts regarding this issue, I would follow Francisco's advice.
