masterlock1
Hello, Can somebody give me a hint how can i create an object with glow effect that is invisible to camera? I mean only it's glowing is visible. I tried with Environment / Lens Effect but it is completely not working with V-Ray. Then with VRayLightMtl but if ia try to hide the object itself, glowing also disappear. Edited December 7, 2019 by masterlock1
Nicolai Bongard
If there is no object that is bright, the vray lens effect will have nothing to add the glow effect to. Not sure what you are trying to achieve, but if you just want a round halo you could try faking it with a spherical falloff mapped onto a plane that is facing the camera? Either that or render twice and comp the glow onto your render in post.
