jakubpulka
Is there any way to export Google Earth 3D data as a point cloud or a mesh? I want to model surroundings of an investment in rather bigger city. It includes streets, pavements, buildings, greenery etc. It will be used for interactive mockup in Unreal Engine. Now I'm modeling that by hand using Open Street Map data which gives me vectors/mesh (Blender has some addon for that). Nevertheless it doesn't include any height information so now I'm getting that from Google Earth by hovering cursor over each building... which is very cumbersome. Any idea how to make my life less cruel?
Dejan Sparovec
I don't know of any direct export method, but it is possible to do it using photoscan software. I've tried this method and it works quite well. There are a few tutorials on the subject. For example: Edited January 15, 2020 by mali22
