rishika oza
Hi, Im using vray for 3ds max and the VFB keeps rendering a pitch black window. I cannot seem to understand what the problem is. It was rendering fine until my 3ds max crashed and i recovered the file from the autobackup folder and replaced it with the original file that i started ( I dont know if that could be the problem but just stating the scenario). I have made sure to place the Vray Sun and te Physical camera correctly and it doesnt solve the problem. I'm attaching the screenshots of my Environment settings and the Render Setup Settings. Please help!!!
Tom Sproule
Hi Rishika, I'm hoping you've solved this by now. The first thing I'd try, if I had this problem, would be to merge everything into a new scene. The reason being Max crashed for a reason so there could easily be corruption in the scene you are working in. The second thing, if it didn't resolve, would be to reset Max. Best, Tom
mauarduz
Hi, on the Vray tab, try checking the GI environment tick-BOX
brian@thepixelacademy.com
Is it possible that VRay has lost its connection to the license server? Happens to me more often than I would like. ? ?
