Sketchrender
I needed something for stripping out Drawings and autocad is too expensive as a option. I bought the basic Turbocad 17 with a free upgrade to 18 which will be released on the 23 of March. I generally get very big DWG in and a lot of the time loose all the annotation and hatching ect when I import them , and they also slow down the model even as an imported and saved max , and then x ref it in , it is quite slow. So I will let you know how i get on, it cost €114, so lets hope for once the you get what you pay for rule will be broken. phil
Sketchrender
Well I have used it now for a number of weeks. I am having trouble opening some large files , and the look of the drawings is not what I know the Autocad to be. I have lost time of project now due to the info not coming in right . Will have to invest in Autocad LT, as thats what all the clients are using. I was thinking about Microstation but it is almost twice the price for the Powerdraft version. anyway i could be wrong. phil
