Sketchrender
Well Finally started using revit, have had it for 3 months and finally got to do a short course and am now doing a factory unit and other small projects as learning projects. I just want to widen my work field, i will still do the 3D end first and formost but this is very handy to use once you start with it. Anybody else getting to use it or have any intention of using it. Work is thin on the ground, as all the Architects are all using Sketchup and loving it, and the clients are not required to pay extra for that service. So I can see a pattern emerging in the economic climate we are in. Phil
dande
Hi Phil I use Revit quite a bit. I find it really handy for buildings. I have done any work for architects in a while. All my work at the moment is engineering.

dande
Well we have to do a bit of everything these days. I do find it handy for modelling buildings because it's parametric. A lot of the time it's easier to change the model in Revit then Max. Its also a great resource for 3D content. If you look at sites like Revit City and Autodesk seek. I often download the objects into Revit and then export them to Max.
