Robert Lopez
Hello Im having a problem with forest pack, ive created a line first them used cross section + surface modifier to make a slope or terrain, and it seems i cant add grass on it, i think its not recognizing it or something, does this have a solution ? ive tried it converting it to edit poly and edit mesh and still doesnt work Thanks, Robert
Thomas Edward Allen
Did you try flipping normals?

Scott Dombrowski
Try using the Rest Xform tool. Forest Pack is picky about... something in that regard (I'm not sure what) that a Reset Xform seems to sometimes fix.
Francisco Penaloza
First be sure that you have selected the correct surface. before you apply Forrest you may want to do a rest XForm just in case the units got wacky. Then check the Altitude and Slope values, maybe your preset some some adjustments regarding those values. If nothing work, create a box, convert it to polygon, then attach your terrain to the box, not the other way around. This will trick 3D Max regarding the polygons in your terrain mesh. Let us know if these trick works.
