David Santos
Hi all, long time reader and first time posting! I work in an arch vis company and wanted to find our what solutions fellow CG artists use to collaborate with their clients on. we currently use emails / dropbox links, and would be nice to have a client portal so they can login and view their projects and upload drawings etc in one place. Thanks in advance ?
Tommy L
We use Review Studio, which I really like. Hightail and Dropbox Pro will pretty much do what you want too I think, they are a bit cheaper and also have all the file sharing/sending.
piotrus3333
ReviewStudio is quite solid solution. would be best to try on a single project if it provides what you need. imo important features are live review/presentation, video review and how well it works on ipads. Curtis Walker
I have used Review Studio in the past at various studios. Its robust and fairly feature rich. The biggest issue I have faced is maintaining client buy in to it. You would think something that intuitively makes the process and communication easier would be an easy sell. However that's not been my experience at least, often times clients just email you there comments anyway which negates the perks of the software, or worse, having to coach them through it every time because for the same reason they don't buy in to it and so don't retain the steps you have taught them. Granted that is my experience with it over the years and wont be applicable to all clients and interactions. Where it works though, it works really well.
