Ilaria Coppola
Hello to everyone, I was wondering if you could help me, having created a 3D spherical render, how could l turn it into a virtual tour video? Many thanks Ilaria Edited September 3, 2020 by Ilaria Coppola
Tommy L
Industry leader would be 3dvista. If you need advanced funtionality its very good. For ease of use and cost effectiveness, I'd recommend Seekbeak. there are alot of reviews/comparisons out there, google will find them.
MATRADI
Hi Ilaria I use krpano (https://krpano.com/home/) I think this is a powerful program, but it’s a little difficult to master. For example, you don’t have an interface and you must create your virtual tour by dragging and dropping certain files on certain programs… And you must also edit by hand some XML files if you want to personalize the final job. Here you can see an example. You can navigate through the rooms by clicking on the arrows on the floor (in the same way as Google Street View). And you can even change the finishing in walls and floors, by clicking in the frames at the walls… https://www.matradi.com/vr/200602altea/ I think some developers offer programs that use krpano as an engine and are easier to use (and not very expensive, as you must purchase a license of krpano and then the other program too). You can ask in the krpano forum. They will recommend you several options for sure.

Iwan Widjaja
Hi Illaria; From what i understand; there is 3 possibilities subject to answer your question; 1. how to create panoramic image Use any render software you currently use; set the camera type to spherical / panoramic; and use 2:1 mage aspect ratio. Usually 8000x4000 or 10000x5000 is sufficient. below that, u'll get blurry image 2. how to host the image so the client can see it on VR format along with the virtual tour button to move from 1 spot to another there are several ways to do it. on smart phone u can search on the app store with "panoramic viewer" , there are several option and more or less the same. u only have to transfer the finished render to your phone there is a catch, as it will be unpractical for you to send the image and ask the client to download separated apps. also this is not web friendly. u cant just share a link and let the client see it directly another way is to use VR tour provider website, such as kuula.co that mentioned above by Robert. Its free for panoramic viewer, can be added to website by simply copy paste some html code, or you can send the link directly to client and let them see it on their phone / pc without installing any additional apps/software the downside is you have to upgrade to premium plan for virtual tour acces [ that enables us to click on image to move to another room / image ] 3. all in packages; create and host the image in 1 [ usually cloud based ] software the nice thing is this kind of service use cloud computing so we can do it on relatively low spec machine. the downside is the quality is usually not too good . several website that provide this kind of service is shapespark and aihouse hope this can answer your question regards iwan Edited October 1, 2020 by Iwan Widjaja

joshorvell
If you need such software but cannot find it, you can order its development. There are many companies that do this. I recommend you look at ASD services, they are engaged in transportation software development services and other services in the field of software development. M V
Momento360 is very affordable and easy to use. https://www.momento360.com/ Generate 360s from your renderer of choice, load them up to the site and create your hotspots for navigation. I have created walkthrus in less than a day using Enscape to cook out fast spherical images. Edited March 2, 2023 by M V
