Foveate
Hi all, wondering if anyone has any insight on the best lightmap baking renderer for Archviz Houdini? I need to go as procedural as possible. Currently have pushed Blender + Cycles archviz to the limit and it's just not cutting it anymore. Also testing Vray in Unreal for baked lighting which is quite promising as well. Francisco Penaloza
What you mean for Archviz Houdini? I believe you could bake maps inside Houdini or if you are exporting to other 3D software any of them would do a decent job. What are the limitation you have found in Blender?? Unreal has two option to bake lighting, one is default Lightmass the other is GPU irradiance. But again it all depend what is your final output. Foveate
I've only been able to find tutorials for doing this with Redshift, but I know Octane and Vray can bake as well in Houdini.
