Marco Lazzarini
The power of finalRender Drop6! 🤩 Only 5 minutes of cooking (on RTX4090) But look at the high settings I used, I think if I reduce them I can get the image in much less time! Marco Lazzarini
Some people have asked me how fast fR is. And I did a test and I got this image (2560x1440) after only 13minutes on a single rtx4090. But I bet it can do better if I use denoise. HDRI illumination
Marco Lazzarini
Hi, here are two more images made with finalRender Drop6 (with denoise filter) + 1 RTX4090. Each 2560 x1440 image took only 6 minutes of rendering time. (The glare is made in Post) Edited March 6, 2023 by Marco Lazzarini
Marco Lazzarini
An image (1440 x 1440 pixel) after only 4 minutes of rendering on a single rtx4090. I used an HDR map for the illumination. Does anyone else use finalRender here?
Marco Lazzarini
Yesterday I had some free time to play and I decided to work on a new scene. I am still in the beginning stages but I would like to share with you this test image (1400 x 1400). Rendered in 10 minutes on a RTX 4090. The scene has more than 49 million of polygons and uses many many bounces (..maybe too many! 😁)

Marco Lazzarini
I always thought the indirect lighting in finalRender was very good but playing with this scene I was surprised! I got this image after only 64 seconds (on 1 rtx4090).

Hi Bobby, it lacks some features but for my kind of works (interiors) I don't miss them so much. But in my opinion it has a one of the best indirect lighting on the market and the speed is amazing (with a good gpu). Last but not least, you can use it for free (with only one CPU or with one only Gpu) so I can suggest you to try it PS: I can add to say that fR is a unbiased spectral renderer and in my images usually I don't clamp any energies
