Randy liddil
Hello everyone, I have a client who is using Revit with Enscape and I'm on 3ds Max Vray 6. Do the materials come into 3ds max natively from Revit Enscape? Or does there need to be a conversion that happens?
Scott Schroeder
No, there would need to be a material conversion. Though with the Vray scene converter, this can be accomplished pretty easily. Though, Revit materials are almost always low quality, so I don't think you'd want to use them with a straight conversion. Pretty soon, it looks like Vray and Enscape are going to be cross compatible now that they are both one company. I believe they made an announcement about cross compatibility with Rhino, so Revit should just be around the corner.
Randy liddil
Sounds good, I'll try the converter! Thanks!
