Hernan Rodenstein
Simplify the handling of camera clipping planes in 3dsMax! Camera Clipping Pro 3dsMax plugin by SplineDynamics adds special controls to the camera for driving clipping planes using objects in the scene and auto-adjusting the focal length to retain the same framing while you move the camera closer or further away from the target. The usual problem in 3dsMax while manipulating camera clippping planes is that, since they are tied to the camera, if you move your camera you will need to readjust the clipping distance to match the previous location. This super-handy tool gives you the ability to bind the clipping planes directly to objects in your scene, so even if you move the camera, they will stay in the right position. And if you turn on the “auto-adjust FOV” option, you will be able to freely move your camera towards or away from the target while keeping the same clipping and framing! This speeds up your workflow considerably. This plugin was specially thought for Architectural Visualization but it’s very useful for all kind of 3dsMax users, artists and professionals in the various fields of 3D design, 3D modeling, CGI, motion graphics, game art, and industrial design. Features Bind the camera clipping planes to objects in the scene Pick an object to control the distance for near clipping and another one for far clipping. Optionally set an offset from the picked object in each case. Automatically places the near clipping plane on the face of the picked object that is closest to the camera. If you pick an object with no surface, such as a helper, it uses the object pivot to calculate the distance for clipping. Auto-ajust FOV/Focal length to keep the same framming while you move the camera towards or away from the target. Supported cameras: 3dsMax Physical Camera, VRay Physical Camera, Corona Camera. No plugin dependency. Simple drag & drop installation. Launching Promo: Only $4 until November 4th! Get it here: Camera Clipping Pro
