How to Properly Export EXR to Photoshop?

Hi, I need my render to look the same in photoshop as it does in Vray. But it's always over exposed - attached!

I've played around with the various colour management / conversion settings in the 'save image' dialogue (gamma 2.2, sRGB etc). But although I get different results they're never the same.

I've also tried tweaking the exposure in photoshop but it can't be matched. It's like there's lost information or something. Even though it's a 32 bit full float EXR.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Adam

Hero! Thank you for sharing. My display correction was set to OCIO and not sRGB. I prefer OCIO as it seems to clamp the highlights better creating a more balanced exposure. But I can't use it due to the exported mismatch.

Do you know how to best prevent blown out highlights? Particularly in the sky when the sun is in shot.

Thanks!

Adam
