johncdg
I have an issue about net rendering. The rendering is not completeing because theres a missing map or missing mapping coordinates. Isn't there a switch that will require the rendering proccess to continue anyway, rather than causing the rendering procces to stop? I have looked through the Max help files with little luck. Bugga_Guy
I have wondered that myself for a long time, but personally I do not think it possible. I just accept that a little extra time has to be put in assigning proper UV co-ordinates. As for Maps, why would spend all that time having to render something missing its textures? tuekappel
personally, i would use the ressource collector together with the file>Archive>map/photometric path editor to gather and check my bitmaps. Also you can check "include maps" in your network job assignment dialog box. this will create a lot of network traffic, though, so use that option with caution. But regarding the UVW coordinates, i hear ya. that's so-o-o-o annoying...
