mbr
What size do most people render to when putting the video on DVD? Does anyone have preferred programs that they use? Thanks.
Jeff Mottle
At Smoothe we render mostly at PAL (768 x 576) resolution and now that I'm on board NTSC (720 x 486) I think you will find that most people render to these resolution for DVD as those are the standards. The other option is 16:9 widescreen. I personally have not done any DVD authoring yet, but Smoothe London/Manchester uses DVD Studio Pro I believe. For whatever reason they opted to buy a mac just for authoring.
Richie
Hello Yes, Jeff is correct for the resolution. Jeff: We are using a MAC for Authoring only too. You can believe me, its much better to work with... than with a PC. But we are doing all preprocessing on a PC Richie
