Mirage Posted March 19, 2003 Share Posted March 19, 2003 That's how we do it. There's not really a more accurate way. We use the CAD plans as temlpates and set our snap tools on, then trace over the plans. You could do some preliminary modeling in ACAD then import. Just make sure you clean up your plans as much as possible before you import. Turn off all text, hatches, extra stuff, like parking lines, etc. This will speed up the import process as well as when you move around the screen. Sorry, there are no magic steps, just be glad you got them in CAD and not hand drawn plans!! Mirage Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
