Craig Ramsay
I have been taking a look at Maxwell recently and I just wanted to get the opinions of you guys that are using it at the moment... what are your thoughts on the renderer so far? I am toying with the idea of buying the alpha but I would like to hear what you guys have to say about it before I splash the cash Cheers, Craig
Fernando Lino
Hi, I have Maxwell, It's very cool and amazing engine...I'm very happy with it and I also use Vray and fR. It's very slow for now, in my case I bought it as a design tool, if I have time, maybe I'd use it to make marketing stuff....$395 is very well expend money Don’t think about it, just do it...(it's not a Nike's ads) Check the Maxwell forum out. Open an account and you'll see more info and amazing renderings.
Craig Ramsay
Hmmm I have been checking out the forum for the last few days... I have been given the go ahead at work to buy it so I might give it a shot. Cheers, Craig
archkre
I would never buy software at an alpha stage! That is unethic from the seller's point of view and stupid from the user's! You can be just a tester and you should be payed for your time and effort! Don't play their game and create that habit to be a current practise! Craig Ramsay
Don't worry I have seen sense, I have decided to hold off for a few reasons. I will however be following the development progress closely
