Bri
Hey Everybody! I am new here and very new to CAD drawing. I would like any help from experience on a new plotter, I am not even sure where to begin with these. I would like to do drawings that are at most 24" accross. I would prefer it be a laser, but if they are to expensive, an inkjet will work. I am looking to spend no more than $1500. This is my first post and this forum looks really great! I cant wait to spend moree time here! Thanks so much for ANY help or links, etc.... Bri
Richard McCarthy
I think Epson is a good choice, either that or HP. I like HP cos of RET3 tech they have. It makes photo output just look extra nice. Now, if you have the "moolah" (money) .... serious moolah, you can get one of these : http://www.oce.com These printer are for SERIOUS production output... A0 size large format laser printers. Every arch office I work in have one of these....(I think our office have TDS 700) Also check : http://www.awcopiers.com/page7.html Look like sweet deal to me, if you plan to print something that large. Ernest Burden III
Also try searching the web for used equipement, or on ebay. Many firms upgrade and are looking to toss the old stuff.
