Ernest Burden III
I named this picture torture because its a torture to be working on this when its so friggin cold outside. How cold could it be in Mexico? I've been to Mexico in February, and I live in the North East of the USA. We know cold. You don't know cold in Mexico. You are blessed with a wonderful country and wonderful people. So stop complaining. My only problem with your picture is the edge of the pool, where the water flows over the tile. I would expect it to show the effect of the water more, in ripples perhaps.
Menno
it looks ok, but too crips. Try changing the grass in front and the huge wall behind the water. I also think that your pooltile texture is way too big. I'd almost halve the UVW if I were you.
DennisHolland
Yep, tub-tiles in half, a solution to break up the big wall and just a good hires grasstex will do the (few) last bits... Overall? Chapeau! Dennis
Ernest Burden III
tub-tiles in half Overall? Chapeau! I agree with the tile size comments. Or, if the tiles are meant to be large, then the grout must be reduced quite a bit. "Overall? Hat!" ???

(grass).... theres nothing i can do about the wall though.... thats just the way the design is....as a matter of fact that wall is already built. Thanx for the advice! Jason Matthews
Are the chairs sitting in the water? The white concrete thing in the forground needs tweaking. As fo the grass, turn the height down some on the displacement. Then use blur it a little in PS.
Elliot
Eduardo, You are inviting Ernest for Tequila and other things. He knows what Tequila is.... but he doesn't know Cabrito or Machaca....! I like Machaca for breakfast..... They have never seen that in the US. Chilaquies for breakfast....! It is 2:44 am.... I must be getting hungry....! When I was younger.... I used to like the "Glorias". Do you what is.....? See you Elliot

BrianKitts
Did you photoshop the sky in after rendering? the black line between the sky and building on left side kinda bothers me.... the far right massing doesn't have that problem, and it makes the building pop better against the sky....
