Tim Nelson
Agreed on all comments. Modeling is fine, but there is no visual points of interest. - There is too much ambient light. There should be a lot more contast in the lighting - I don't see a background of any sort - Use some reflections on your materials, but don't over do it. - Improve your wood texture. Never use prodedural maps for wood. Always use a real map. - Add some place settings to bring more interest to the scene. - People would be nice, but don't add them if you can't do it without them looking out of place. It can just as easily ruin the whole thing. So, good job, but there are lots of things you can do fairly easily to improve the quality of this one. Keep us posted on your progress. Harjeet Singh
more textures, better lights, some hung in the tensile-like thing and some fixing detail at ends of these would show up your efforts better. regards
Harjeet Singh
btw, those fishes look great!, seats need soft edges. consider chamfering them.
manta
Hello, I agree with the others, I think its a decent NPR, but if you're going for realistic, you need some radiosity, and reflections, and some real bitmaps in your textures, as for the hanging things, if they're supposed to be cloth, maybe try a FFD to give it a little distortion, if you don't have Vray or don't want to use their free one ( I use it all the time ) then try using Max's radiosity, I think those things will make a dramatic difference.
